This polaroid maker sets a photo into an instant-film frame the way the real prints are cut: thin sides, a thin top and the wide bottom bar you write on. Pick a photo and it lands in a Polaroid frame at once - the picture window is square and the borders follow the proportions of a real Polaroid print, so a phone snapshot and a full-size camera photo get the same-looking frame. Instax mini switches to the taller Fujifilm shape, and Keep photo wraps the Polaroid borders around the picture without cropping it. Photo position slides the square window across a wide or tall photo so the face or the horizon stays in the print, and Border scales all three margins together. Call it a polaroid border, outline or effect - this editor does the same job on one photo or a batch of photos, one after another, in the browser, and nothing is uploaded.
The bottom bar is the point of a polaroid border, so the Caption field writes straight onto it. Five letterings cover the usual looks - Handwritten for the marker-pen note, Marker for a bolder scrawl, Typewriter for a date stamp, Serif and Sans for a printed label - and the ink colour picker changes the pen. The text sizes itself from the height of the bar and shrinks to fit long captions, so the same wording sits the same way on any photo. The frame colour swatches give the classic white, a warm cream, black, pink and sky blue, and the custom picker takes any colour, which is how a custom polaroid film border is matched to a brand or an invitation. Tilt leans the whole print a few degrees on a transparent sheet with a soft shadow, the pinned-to-a-wall look, and the export grows to hold it. The stage info card lists the window size, the three margins in pixels and the size of the result.
Download as PNG for a lossless print with an exact frame colour, or JPG for a smaller file to send or post. A tilted print has see-through corners, so it is saved as PNG automatically; a straight print can be either. WebP is the smallest of the three. The pencil next to the file name renames the download, the copy button puts the framed picture on the clipboard, and on a phone the share button sends it straight to another app.
A polaroid is usually a personal photo - a friend, a child, a trip - and this page never sees it. The picture is decoded in your browser, the frame, the caption and the tilt are drawn on a canvas on your own device, and the download is assembled there too. There is no upload, no account and no server-side copy.
A classic Polaroid picture measures 3.108 inches square inside a 3.483 by 4.233 inch frame, which makes the sides and the top about six percent of the picture width and the bottom bar about thirty percent, five times the side. The Polaroid style here uses those fractions, so the frame looks right at any resolution. Instax mini uses the 46 by 62 mm picture in a 54 by 86 mm print.
Polaroid and Instax prints have a fixed picture shape - square or a tall rectangle - so a wide or tall photo has to be cropped to fit it, the same as the real camera. Use Photo position to choose which part stays in the window, or switch to Keep photo to put the instant-film borders around the whole picture with no crop.
