Open an image and drag the crop box over the part you want to keep. Corners and edges resize it, the inside moves it, and a rule of thirds grid appears while you drag to help with composition. The crop happens on your original pixels when you download, so there is no quality loss: what you keep is exactly as sharp as it was.
Lock the box to the ratios everything online expects: 1:1 square for profile pictures and Instagram, 16:9 widescreen for YouTube thumbnails and presentations, 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, 4:5 for portrait posts, plus 4:3, 3:2 and 2:3 for photos and prints. With a ratio locked the box always stays exact, however you drag it. Free mode has no constraints at all.
Need a precise size rather than a ratio? Type the width and height in pixels and the box snaps to it. With a ratio locked, typing one side calculates the other automatically. The numbers update live while you drag, so you always know exactly what you are about to export.
The preview is just a preview: the download cuts from the original image at full resolution, pixel for pixel. A JPG comes back as a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG with its transparency intact, and WebP is one tap away on the download button.
The cropper family covers shapes too: circle crop for round profile pictures, oval crop, heart crop, star, hexagon, diamond and triangle, or the square crop shortcut.
