This oval crop tool cuts a photo into a smooth ellipse in seconds. Open a picture, drag the oval over the part you want to keep, and stretch it to any proportions with the handles: wide ovals for banners and name plates, tall ovals for classic portraits, or anything between. The download comes out at your photo's full resolution with everything outside the oval transparent, so the cutout drops straight onto any design without a box around it.
The oval starts covering most of your photo. Drag inside to move it, pull a corner handle to resize both directions at once, or grab an edge handle to stretch just the width or the height, which is how you dial in exactly the ellipse you want. The veil outside the shape shows exactly what will be cut away, and what you see is what you download.
Downloaded as PNG or WebP, the outside of the oval is fully transparent with a smooth anti-aliased edge. That makes the result a ready-made element for collages, presentations, video thumbnails, stream overlays and printed cards: place it over any background and only the ellipse shows. Choose JPG and the surroundings become clean white instead, which suits documents and printing. Either way the cutout is rendered from your original pixels at full resolution, never from the on-screen preview.
