This free photo collage maker builds a collage from two, three, four, nine or up to a hundred photos or pictures on one canvas, right in your browser. Pick the shape of the canvas - square for a post, 4:5 or 9:16 for a story, 3:2, 16:9 or A4 for a print - and a layout: a photo grid with equal cells, a featured layout with one big photo and the rest beside or below it, or a strip of photos side by side or stacked. Every photo fills its cell edge to edge; drag it inside the cell to choose which part shows, or drag it onto another photo to swap the two. Add spacing between the cells, round the corners, set a margin and a background color, then download the collage as a PNG, JPG or WebP at 1080, 2048 or 4096 pixels, built from the original pixels of your photos.
The Grid layout is a photo grid maker for any count. Four photos make the classic 2x2 collage, nine a 3x3 grid, sixteen a 4x4; two photos sit side by side and three or five get two columns with the last row stretched across the full width, so no cell is ever left empty. Set the Columns slider yourself for a 2x3, 3x2, 3x4, 4x3, 4x6 or any other arrangement - the rows follow. Because every cell is filled edge to edge, mixed portrait and landscape photos still form a clean grid; drag each one inside its cell to frame the important part.
Featured left gives the first photo a large cell down the left side with the others stacked or gridded on the right - one hero shot and its details. Featured top does the same across the top with the rest in a row underneath. Side by side lines every photo up in one row for a before-and-after or a product set; Stacked puts them in one column for a tall story. Move a photo into the featured cell by dragging it there: the photo that was there takes the freed cell.
Two photos in one frame, three or four for a moodboard, ten to twenty for an event, or a full hundred for a year in pictures: the same canvas takes them all. Large sets of pics go into the grid automatically - 25 photos become a 5x5, 81 a 9x9, 100 a 10x10 - and the preview stays quick because it works from small copies of each photo while the download is composed from the originals. Sizes for social media are covered by the canvas shapes and the 1080 pixel output: a square post, a 4:5 portrait or a 9:16 story come out at exactly the pixel sizes those apps expect.
Nothing leaves your device: the photos are read from your computer or phone, laid out on a canvas in the browser and saved back as one image. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many collages you make. The download is built from the original pixels of every photo through the same crop windows the preview shows, so the collage is as sharp as your photos allow at the size you choose.
To put a few photos next to each other at their own full resolution, without a fixed canvas, use the image combiner or merge images. To cut one photo into grid tiles instead, the image splitter does that; for a square chart of album covers there is the album cover grid maker, and for a border around a single photo, add border.
Add the four photos and leave the layout on Grid: the automatic column count is two, so they form a 2x2 collage. Drag the photos on the preview to decide which goes in which cell, and drag inside a cell to show a different part of a photo.
Yes. Up to 100 photos fit on one canvas; the grid arranges them in a 10x10 automatically, or set the columns yourself. Small sets of two or three photos work just as well.
Each photo is scaled to fill its cell, so part of it may be cropped away. Drag the photo inside its cell to slide it and pick the part that shows.
The short side of the canvas is 2048 pixels by default. Under More options you can pick 1080 pixels - a square post comes out 1080x1080, a 4:5 portrait 1080x1350, a story 1080x1920 - or 4096 pixels for a large print. The long side follows the canvas shape.
Yes. Spacing puts a gap between the cells, Rounded corners rounds them, and Margin under More options adds a border around the whole collage. All three take the background color you choose, or stay transparent.
Yes. Turn on Transparent background and the gaps, margin and rounded corners stay see-through in the downloaded PNG or WebP. JPG cannot store transparency, so it gets a white background.
