A list on paper still works when the phone is in another room: the chores for the weekend, a packing list, the jobs for moving house, a daily routine for a child. This to do list maker, a checklist creator for paper, draws a printable page with checkboxes and hands it to your printer or saves it as a PDF, with no account and no sign-up. Pick a template, type a title if you want one (it prints "To Do List" otherwise), and choose how many lines the checklist has, from 5 to 40. In landscape the lines run in two columns. If you already know some of the tasks, type them into Tasks, one per line, and they are printed on the lines in order, leaving the rest blank to fill in by hand. A dash, a bullet or a number at the start of a pasted line is left off.
Checklist is the classic to do list template, what any checklist generator makes: a box and a line for every task. Daily is a one-page planner for a single day, with a date line, the top 3 priorities, a schedule by the hour from 6 in the morning to 9 at night with a faint line for each half hour, a to-do list and lines for notes; the hours follow your own clock, 12-hour or 24-hour. Weekly gives each day of the week its own block of lines plus an eighth block for the week's to-dos, and the week starts on Monday or Sunday. Matrix is the Eisenhower priority matrix: four boxes of checklist lines for what is urgent and important (do first), important but not urgent (schedule), urgent but not important (delegate) and neither (eliminate). Every template comes in four styles, each shown as a small preview on its button: Soft, with rounded cards in a pale tint, round checkboxes and little icons; Bold, with a solid colour header and strong headings; Handwritten, a notebook look with a script title, dotted lines and pen-drawn boxes on cream paper; and Minimal, a serif title with fine lines and plenty of white space. One of six colours, or any custom colour, tints the whole page, and the tints are pale enough to print well in black and white.
Print opens your browser's print dialog with the paper size already set to the one you picked: A4, Letter, A5, A3, Legal or Tabloid, portrait or landscape. Print at actual size (100%) so the margins stay as drawn. Download saves a PDF at 300 DPI on A4 and Letter, the file to keep, send or print again next week; PNG and JPG are the same page as a picture, handy as a phone wallpaper or inside a document.
For blank ruled sheets there is lined paper, and grids, dots and more are on the printable paper page. To plan a whole month, print a calendar with boxes for every day.
The tasks you type are drawn onto the page in your browser and go nowhere else: nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and the PDF is written by the page itself. It keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Yes. Write them in the Tasks box, one per line, and they are printed on the checklist lines in order. On the daily planner they go on the to-do lines and on the weekly planner into the To do block. If you type more tasks than there are lines, the extra ones are left off, so add lines or switch to landscape.
It is free and there is nothing to sign up for. The page makes the checklist on your own device, so there is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many lists you print.
Use the Print button, or print the PDF at actual size (100%) rather than "fit to page". The margin is already part of the design, so nothing ends up in the strip a printer cannot reach.
It is the Eisenhower matrix: tasks sorted by two questions, is it urgent and is it important. Urgent and important tasks you do first, important ones that can wait you schedule, urgent but unimportant ones you delegate, and the rest you drop.
